About Me

I'm Chris, a native Californian turned Germanophile and travel enthusiast with a bent for photography.

I studied Political Science and International Relations (Global Business) at the University of Southern California and graduated in 2014. While still at USC, I heard about the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals (CBYX, or Parlamentarisches Patenschaftsprogramm in German) and instantly knew it was for me. I applied, got in, and was thrilled to have been part of such a great program!

From July 2014 to July 2015, I joined 74 other Americans and traveling to Germany to attend university and complete an intern
ship all while engaging in cultural diplomacy and exploring our new host country. You can witness that entire journey in my posts from that time period, and see what other journeys my time in the program has inspired me to take!

This site serves as my travel photo blog, where I share shots from my latest journeys and bits of knowledge I picked up along the way.
If you found this blog while researching the CBYX or PPP program, please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions you have.
